2026 Mileage Rates Announced

Today, the IRS announced the 2026 mileage rates.  The business mileage rate is increasing by 2.5 cents, from $0.70/mile in 2025 to $0725/mile in 2026.  The final move deductible rate is decreasing by 0.5 cents, from $0.21/mile in 2025 to $0.205/mile in 2026.  Please keep in mind that final move mileage (along with all shipment, storage and final move costs) is taxable since 1/1/18 with the exception of military moves and certain states.  The charitable mileage rate remains unchanged at $0.14/mile.
